That's a good question. I can only think of one way to find out. Unfortunately I don't have a vintage Fender tweed to use to compare them. I did play through an original '59 Bassman prior to buying my Victoria 35310. This was many years ago, so I don't remembe the exact sound of the Fender. I do rememeber that it was really beat up and expensive and I was concerned as to how much life was left in the old girl. Soon after I found Victorias's version of the Bassman in a shop, played through that and decided to buy the lower wattage version that was closer to a Bandmaster.
It sounds absolutely perfect to my ears and for my guitars, so I no longer search for, or even pay much attention to amps.
Oh, I did play through Tricone's Clark. It sounded great! Very much like my Victoria, only smaller sounding with the lower wattage amp, one speaker, and smaller pine cabinet.
