Mr. Tricone, Linky no worky for me. Keep in mind that prior to the 1920's Martins were braced for gut strings only.

I tried enlarging the photos of that guitar without much success. It appears that it has steel strings on it, and it may be an optical illusion but the lower bout seems to have quite a "dome" shape to it. It would be interesting to get a better look at this one. As just a collectors piece, this one seems to be priced pretty reasonably. I like finding and looking at these old Martins too. Keep 'em coming. Gary |

This one isn't vintage, but I see his ad a lot on CL. It's truly a one-of-a-kind guitar. I wonder how sycamore sounds????
