A: As a source of revenue, in order to provide for free hosting of communities like this one, Yuku populates each forum with advertisements that they deem appropriate. When a new community/forum is formed, Yuku allows a 30-day grace period before they start to incorporate these ads. However, they do allow a community to obtain "Gold Ad-Free" status by accepting a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual fee. Any contributions that you elect to make by utilizing the "Contribute Now" button will go directly to Yuku towards this Gold Ad-Free status.
