Watcha Play Out Of? |

I've gone thru a few rigs over the years. My first was an old school Sunn Coliseum 300. It was a massive beast 2x15. I used to squeeze it in to a little
Honda Prelude. From there, I downsized to a GK 700RB 210 with a Bag End S15-D. It was like going from a Hummer to a Honda. Much smaller and eaiser to
manage. Now I'm using an Eden Time Traveler thru Avatar cabinets 1x15 and 1x12. I like this set-up because it's compact but still packs enough punch
to get the job done.

Sorry, dude, sometimes I get stuck doing actual "work" around here. :-)
I used to run GK (400B, 800RB), but now I've got an Ashdown ABM500 with an 18" BagEnd & a 2x10 Warwick (both 8 ohm) in the rehearsal studio (with a spare Carvin ProBass 500 as well) and I gig with an SVT 3 Pro through a 2x10 BagEnd (4 ohm). It's all I ever really need for club gigs, but I'll bring the big rig if I'm playing outdoors or somewhere with no FOH support. It's nice to have the option. No, I don't miss the days of cramming a 2x15 and a 4x12 into my Plymouth Valiant. Now I can fit everything (basses included) in the trunk of my Camry. How do you like that Eden? I'm totally hung up on tube preamps, but I've heard good things about the Time Traveler. Does the "warm" button really pull off a tube tone? |

Sounds like your set-up is dialed in. It took me a few years to figure things out. I downsized just like you. Isn't it nice to be able to fit everything
into your car? I don't envy drummers one bit when it comes to hauling equipment around. I do like my Eden. The "warm" button does a decent job,
but I wouldn't go as far as saying it can pull off a true tube tone. Nothing like the real thing! Overall, it's a nice little amp. I won't be
giving it up any time soon.

Eden for me! | #4 | ||
|
Over 40 years I have played through Fender, Acoustic, Peavey and GK but it is Eden now for me! 550 T amp and 210XLT cabinet. Small, powerful and great sound!
No more refrigerator sized cabs for me! I plug in my blonde 1959 maple neck P-Bass or Cherry Red 1965 Epiphone Embassy Bass.
