Well, there's me, and there's Taku Sakashta. I have known him for years, and I suspect I still can't spell his name! He does really excellent work
of an artistic nature, but still conservative enough to be called guitars, and they play well too. I don't know his website address, but Google probably
does.
More about me! I am 62 years old and have been building guitars since I was 20. It has been my primary income source most of that time. Though there are other things I might do for cash flow enhancement, nothing beats guitar making for me. While I have made many different kinds of instruments over the years, I am best know for acoustic flattop guitars. In addition to making my own innovative designs, I also am the primary maker of Eric Schoenberg's '30's Martin inspired guitars. I have made about 75 of those over the ten years I have known him. I designed and built my shop on the back of the property I own in Petaluma. I spend 11 hours a day 6 days a week in the shop, and if you would like to visit, you are welcome, but please call first or be willing to risk my being in the middle of a hot hide glue process which cannot be interrupted.
