I just finished this book by Allen St. John, and it was absolutely captivating! Whether or not you ever thought about building guitars, any guitar enthusiast
owes it to himself/herself to read this account of one writer's observations of luthier and picker extraordinaire Wayne Henderson, as he builds a guitar
for the famous (Eric Clapton) and not so famous. It provides a new appreciation for the workmanship that goes into building such a fine instrument. I had never
heard of Wayne Henderson before I started reading this book. Now, after doing a google search, mention of him is all over the internet, along with many vids at
youtube. Wayne's waiting list has been known to stretch out to 10 years! He doesn't accept a deposit, and he prices his guitars
much less than your typical Martin. It's bound to leave you longing for a Henderson guitar of your own . . trust me.
