Collings . . Opinions? |

Would anyone like to opine about their experiences with Collings? I'm interested in an OM2H. I've played a few at Gryphon, and many folks seem to
love them. I'd especially be keen on hearing any negatives.

I would say, after owning and selling many of many guitars , I still own a collings D1a guitar that I will never sell. I would also check huss and dalton out.

Hey thanks pauljcat, and welcome to the forum! I've seen some nice Huss & Daltons at Gryphon, too. Lots of eye candy there!

For me, the deep-bodied OM is a much better guitar than the standard OM. But I'm not a fingerstyle guy. That being said, I've never played a Collings
that didn't blow me away.

I think it is hard to find any negatives about Collings. The built quality is absolut great. That being said, I tried quiet a few at Gryphon, but I never
really wanted to own one. Sorry, but the Collings sound is not for me.
